quinntar
One night as I was asleep a great storm arose, I woke suddenly when a bolt of lighting crashed through my bedroom ceiling. There stood a figure of a cat that dazzled in the purest of light. "I am your Lord your God!" It said It's voice echoed around the room, then everything around my room fell silent. I could hear nothing outside, I looked up at the ceiling and saw a giant hole where the lighting fell. The star's were gone and everything around me was dark except the figure of this cat. "Speak!" The figure said. Are you a God we people know? "No, because I am so vast I cannot be contained in any vessel other than a house cat" What does that mean? "I like cat's" I started laughing so hard I balled my eye's out. "Yep, can any of your God's do that?" What, become a cat or make people laugh? "Both" I think the Egyptian's worshipped cat's as god's. "Well, they didn't worship me!" Look, I'm not going to bow down to a cat. "Who is telling you to bow down to a cat? I just come and go as a cat so I can keep an eye on thing's" But if you're God don't you see and know everything? "No, when I leave the universe I forget everything and enter my slumber" OK then, why are here? Why did you create all of this? "Fun, life is supposed to be fun" OK, but I'm not having fun. This place is absolutely absurd! Who can have fun here? "Yes, I know" So, aren't you going to fix it. "As a cat? How? You'll have to wait until reality catches up" What does that mean? "Reality is out of date, the system that I created for fun" I don't understand. "One day you will, but that's all I can leave you with" That was all I saw, heard and remembered. I fell asleep after it said it's final word's, I woke up in the morning and my bedroom was all back to the way it was before the storm.
