TEG Posted November 29, 2019 Share Posted November 29, 2019 The last half of the chapter (Genesis 4) is interesting, and doesn’t get much attention. Cain, driven from the lord’s presence, becomes something like the founder of civilization. The gnostic interpretation would be that the lord/demiurge keeps people ignorant and we have to break free of him to progress.
