alreadyGone
Not mine. I do not know who wrote this, but it's one of my favorite things: ------------------------------------------------ The madman stood at the asylum gate, looking all about Trying to decide once, and for all, if he was IN, or OUT. ------------------------------------------------ Always figured I was on the outside... coulda been wrong though. I was about other things. ♦ Fuego ♦
A funny 1966 movie King of Hearts about a soldier who takes escapes capture by taking refuge in an asylum. After a while, one wonders who the crazy ones really are. In our case, the boatload of mental and emotional dissonance in the church was pretty clear that "salvation" was more "slave-ation" to a bloody nonsensical tribal religion that became way too popular. I'm certain you've probably seen "The Gods Must Be Crazy"... great bit of work!
