Lives to run away another day,

That's the way of the chicken,

And it has served me well,

Because you never know,

Who'll be banging on your door,

Because you never know,

Who's got their eye on you,

So it's better to be safe than sorry,

Unless you stand your ground,

But that's a different way to go,

A way that I have given up on,

Because it will not make me,

The chicken master,

Who taught me one great lesson,

The more you fight to be harder,

The more fragile you will become,

Because you won't be able to bend,

When the waves of life really hit you.
