If you read the Bible there really is nothing that says one cannot enjoy rock music, or watch movies. “Real” Christians are to use discretion. Sure— I am not going to listen to “black metal” with lyrics about worshipping the Devil. And I’m not going to watch a movie that is blatantly blasphemous, etc.  But, let’s say there is a movie like “Dumb and Dumber”(bad example but it came to mind)— I can make my own choice whether I want to watch or not.

 

And yes, if the Chef at a Restaurant is named “Jesus” you should definitely eat the food he prepares. :)

It's called shunning the appearance of evil; and, yeah, "real" christians know what it means.
