Matt Posted June 6, 2006 Share Posted June 6, 2006 When you guyz were christians did you beleive god was giving you revelations as you read the bible. For example you would read something. Then read something else, so you dismiss the previous reading. I would conclude this was a revelation and that god was showing me the true meaning through my 2nd reading. Now i look back on it and wtf was i thinking. Instead of thinking wtf is with the contridictions i was 'beleiving' god was showing me to the truth and i was ignore parts that contridicted. I used to ask my mum a few things from the bible but she would come back at me with other verses and what not. If i didnt agree with what was said, she would say god hasnt given me that revelation yet. god.....hasnt.....given..me..that.....revelation...yet Any similiar experiences.
