She pleaded with her killers to leave her and her unborn baby alive, yet both were killed without mercy. Now, what would you say if I were to ask you if you wanted to worship Charles manson and fellowship with his followers? Your first and natural instinct would immediately be repulsed beyond belief and you would answer a resounding no. Yet every Sunday, Christians march into church with their ‘holy’ bibles and worship something far worse. Hosea 13:16 - Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. Please pay close attention to what you just read. It says god ordered the murder of infants, and their women who are pregnant will be ripped open. Not only the same crime as charles manson and his followers, but actually many more times this occurred. If you wouldn’t worship charles manson for this crime ordered by him and played out by his sick followers, why are you going to church on Sunday and worshipping an imaginary divine murderer who has committed far, far, far worse crimes against humans? Think about all those women who begged for their lives and the lives of their children and yet, by jehovah’s orders, mothers and their babies and infants were murdered without mercy. This is just sick. A strange thing that Christians are anti-abortion, yet worship a god who is pro-abortion (muders countless unborn children in the womb). Christians say god wants babies to live, yet the bible says otherwise. All ordered by god and carried out by his followers. Christians, what do you think about child rape and slavery? The god of the bible, the one you worship every Sunday, is all for it. Numbers 31:18 - 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. Notice it doesn’t say women AND children, it says women children, that is female children, to be kept alive for slavery and sexual abuse. All ordered by god, and carried out by his followers. Christians say that god is pro-life and love's every one, well let’s see about that. Deuternonomy 3:6 - 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city. No, sorry, your god loves to order the mass murder of men, women, and CHILDREN. The ripping open of women and murder of unborn babies is the very definition of EVIL. Last one. Exodus 12:29 - And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. Please note, god, instead of just killing pharaoh’s first born, which is horrific enough, the god of the bible’s blood lust led him to murder the first born of people who were in the dungeon (they had nothing to do with pharaoh, yet god killed their infant children anyways), as well as….and this is just plain nuts….god actually killed the firstborn of all the cattle out in the field as well. What did the cattle have to do with pharaoh? Absolutely nothing. I could also go on and on about the horrifying details of a good and loving god lovingly sending people to hell over trivial and mundane crap, but I spare you. So what do you think Christians? The bible, and yes I am also talking about the new testament, is soaked in the blood of men, women, children, toddlers, and unborn babies. All murdered at the hands of your loving god as well as his cult followers. Yet this is the very god you worship every Sunday. When you’re singing songs to the thin air to an imaginary man made deity, remember what you have read here and tell me you can still love and worship an evil monster such as this. Judging by the god of the bible, even bad people exhibit more mercy and love than yahweh. Humans are more merciful and moral than your god. The reason they say they are against killing is that we are God's property. It's okay for God to kill us because he owns us. It's not okay for us to kill each other or ourselves, because that is destroying God's property without permission. This explains God's double standard when it comes to killing: he can do as he wants with his belongings. One Xian writer compared it to gardening: it would be wrong for him to go to his neighbor's house and tear up his neighbor's bushes, because the plants belong to his neighbor. But it is fine for the neighbor to tear up his own bushes, because he owns them. (Anyone remember who wrote this? I can't think of his name.) The first time I started reading the bible for myself I had anxiety attacks. I never read anything like it. It doesn't just record violence the way a history book does. It revels in the blood. It made me feel a sense of doom and dread for myself and all others on this planet that has never gone away since. The bible literally makes me sick. SCM Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 "god loves us apparently but treats us like dirt, and will punish you if you don't love him back." the last straw that broke the back for me was that i could see how humans could love better than god, and i could make up a better religious system than him. I would be happy to live and let live with christianity, but i feel really bad knowing that so many children are growing up thinking being worthless is the norm. I remember reading about all the war crimes in the old testament as a kid and never batting an eye. Its all presented so happy and glorious, that the children of israel were blameless even when they were killing innocents and taking child slaves. can christians just admit that their god isn't blameless/perfect or at least has a very different concept of love in his mind, and probably can't be trusted with your eternal destination. If he has complete power in a situation, the result is not gonna be good for the human. maybe christians should start investigating alternative salvations.
