A Polish priest who served with the Vatican's doctrinal arm will no longer be able to carry out his duties after announcing he is gay on the eve of a major Church meeting, a Vatican spokesman said.

 

 

Admit that you want to be with a consenting adult of the same gender and you get canned immediately.  Sexually abuse little boys and you get moved around, protected and it is forever swept under the rug.

According to a Wikipedia article, in America alone, the Church of Pedophilia has paid out between $2 and $3 billion in settlements between 1950 and 2007. In 2007 alone, the C o P spent $615 million on sex abuse cases. Eight dioceses have declared bankruptcy due to sex abuse cases between 2004 and 2011. Some dioceses filed for bankruptcy just before civil suits against them were to go to trial.

 

The article cites a 2004 report that looked at 10,667 victims who made allegations against 4392 priests.

 

This is in America alone. The issue is world-wide and in many countries the culture does not provide a means for abuse victims to complain.

The RCC is trying desperately to remain relevant to the younger generation. They are doing this by avoiding all the current issues, as much as they possibly can. The Pope avoids saying things that he believes on many topics including homosexuality, abortion, women's rights and many, many others.
