Goodbye Jesus

I'm Through

With the recent club shooting in Orlando, and the flurry of anti-Gay pastors celebrating the shooting, I've officially decided that enough is enough! As far as I'm concerned, Pastor's Steven Anderson, Donnie Romero and Roger Jiminez WILL NOT BE A PART OF MY WORLD! The more people backlash against these people, the more they'll feel that they're cause is right, and I've devoted far too much attention to these people. Their words don't have any power unless we GIVE THEM power, and that's not what I'm going to do. So, yes, Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church and his lackeys will no longer be a part of my world. They're done - bye! Also, David J. Stewart, webmaster of www.jesus-is-savior.com and www.jesusisprecious.org will no longer be a part of my world. Both websites have been BLOCKED by my web filter. Let him type all his insane conspiracy theory and sadistic hellfire and brimstone BS all he wants - I will NOT under any circumstances be looking at his site! It was absolutely foolish of me to even consider going back on his website in the first place.

So yes, this will be the turning point, and my life shall be restored.

SkepticalDaniel, these Maxims will really help calm you, whenever you need. Sometimes, just take a deep breath and relax. Why do you go to those sites? Cheers!

They will not be a part of my world ever again! And by the way, neither will Darien Santiego, the guy who wrote "David J. Stewart Defended"

I'm glad you're giving up tormenting yourself with that nonsense. Good for you.

I disagree with not countering bigoted views, though. If no one had ever done that, we'd still be burning witches and selling women for a bride-price. The only way to bring them down is to demonstrate how wrong they are. But whatever works for you, SD, until you can interact with Christian rubbish without fearing Hell.

Great news SD! :D

'Bout damn time, son.

He's only been here a couple of months and I must say, he's been making one hell of a progress in this short span of time. The deconversion process can take years for some.

Not 100% yet, but getting there! I've even found therapeutic methods to help myself! I don't know, but over the months, I think I've come a long way!

Thank you! I won't give up! I'm starting to recognize confirmation bias when I see it, as well as study history. However, there are some little things I still need to improve. Fortunately I have therapeutic options to work with such as my Chinese Broadsword.
