L.B.
Sigh. Head-In-Sand from a "reformed evangelical" blogger.
Moderator Joshpantera Posted April 19, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 19, 2017 That's a painful read, especially the part where he explains to us all how the god of the universe came down to become Jesus of Nazareth to solve the problem of sin. How people are unable to read and write something that ignorant and not see it as identical to any cult followers believing that some leader is god on earth, is beyond me. The whole thing is beyond me. The writer fails to understand the most basic point which is that Judaism originated as polytheistic paganism itself and then began pretending that it wasn't. The passover is set according to the first full moon after the vernal equinox. It's Soli-Lunar oriented religious celebration, which is a reflection of old nature worship. It's pagan from the outset. Then, christianity latches onto the nature worship festival and adds even more pagan elements to the table. Behind that, the Catholics layers even more and today we find a through and through pagan holiday oriented to old nature worship that's so embedded that protestant christians are stuck with it, period.
