but the heartbeat of a mammoth struggling in a tarpit

the rubber cement bounce of ecstatic feet on silvery sidewalks

the blink blink wink of a longlegged redhead on the N

some thumping techno mantra

to keep the seconds in line

and line up they do

to be knocked down

one

by

one

like these beers

or these breaths

a domino castle

cascading black fragments into infinity

and every now and then

a breakdown

with
