OK, you know the routine...young man gets saved..goes on his spiritual jorney and then can't stop beating off. Then we young males feel GUILTY if Christian!

Generally because we were told if you look at a women and lust it is sin..the church said masturbation is sin...All us youth males struggled in these areas and I am sure many who write here also felt guilty as Christians for these sexual sins.We are human beings and saying the sinners prayer doesn't take away a young males sex drive and make his penis limber. Many of us young males would masturbate and then feel guilty after because the pastors said it was sin. But in this area most young males could not kick the habit..And many would be forced to get married at a young age to appease their sex drive.I remember one service while in College chapel the preacher spoke about sex and talked about the sin of Onan "who masturbated and God killed him for spanking it" I remember looking around and seeing all pale white faces among the youth males. These men were really afraid the next time "probably a day or two after the sermon" god would strike them dead with a bolt of lightning while they are in the room "quickly" using a little Vaseline. I remember myself as a youth I needed to release 2-3 times a week....and I tried my hardest to hold off..Because I felt each time I masturbated I would need to say the sinners prey all over again.

So what I am saying is this..All males "normal males" masterbate who are single if we are honest..see most Chrstian youth just sneak this stuff..but most do it..Ive talked to over 50 youth Christian males and all of them if they are honest say they masterbate..Of course some have to say non of your business or Ohh I don't do that..Yeah right

Anyway..Jesus said he who looks on a women and lust commits adultery in his heart... So what I think from knowing men and knowing human tendency is that 99% of all normal uncasterated men..Jack off or think of sex..and even married men 99% think of other women..If under the banner of "Christian" or not

So with that...I say to all the sneaking masterbating Christian youth..Why even pretend and go to church you will struggle all your life..And when your 80 years old and happen to see a picture of a naked women and then you die..Your still going to HELL because you lust..Jesus said that is adultery..So why waste your life in bondage always sneaking around....and decieving yourself saying you don't LUST

Uhm, why are you asking Christian guys if they touch themselves?

 

Personally I never bought into the idea that I should feel bad. There was only one point -- at the very end of my time as a Christain -- where I even bothered to try not masturbating to see if that would help my failing faith. As if that had anything to do with why my faith was fading. But I never honestly felt bad about it. I knew that we were supposed to but I also knew that they were wrong.

Well I asked Christians in a group if they struggle with this issue....Or some good freinds I would say first hey you know I struggle here and the the Bible says...and do you struggle....most would say yeah..and move on....its not being gay or nothing and the main reason masterbation is frawned upon is becasue of Judeo-Christian beliefs....

Yeah in a normal society where masterbation is just done..no one cares..But when you get told your going to the pit becasue you beat your meat..Then I think some answer need to be placed foward and people need to talk....If one keeps this to themself they can be miserable and always struggling..Ive seen it fisrt hand!

I never worried about whacking off before I took Xianity seriously. When I was a "cultural Catholic" getting off wasn't much of an issue. There's no guilt when you're "Xian-lite".

 

But when I began to take the stuff seriously, I read the Babblical teachings on all things sexual, and as well the Church's™ official teaching on the issue, and tried like all heck for years to stop getting off. But I loved my porn too much, and it proved a useless and stressful fight.

 

The notion that any god would even care whether or not a man gets off in his wife's cunt or on his hand is so utterly absurd it makes me really wonder why anyone can still be Xian today.

You may want to consider adding young Christian women struggle too. They just can't find the courage to actually talk about it. From a Christian perspective female masterbation is sort of a loophole isn't it? We aren't wasting the potential to reproduce.

 

The reality is that Christians like to focus on the sins of others rather than on their own. If the bible were the inspired Word of God it would seem that God is very much interested in seeing husbands and wives have sex and avoid masterbastion so that He can bless them with children. Those children are in turn raised and indoctrinated in the faith.

 

Christians who say that masterbation is a serious sin and then look at the calendar to see if they can have sex with their spouse without risking and additional "blessing" in their lives are just as guilty of misuising their reproductive talents. Christians who use other forms of birthcontrol may actually be guilty of murder as the pill and the IUD are both abortifacent. But you don't hear protestants hollering about that. They don't think of the sin of avoiding God's blessing as serious because it falls within the cultural norms of society and the church. Nearly everyone sees large families as freakish.

Yes, I certainly struggled with the masturbation issue whilst apart of christianity. In fact, for the longest time I never even did it! Yes, it is true, you CAN live without masturbation...However, it is a life filled with blue balls and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Us men are HUMAN! When I was in my "holy days" The longest I ever went was I believe 3 weeks. And that was a record and I tell you by NOT masterbating I was LUSTING!!!! I mean it came to a point by when I didnt jack off I would think off naked women all day..and by beating off it helped to release those thoughts. So it was lose lose for my poor struggling soul..If I did masterbate I felt I was guilty and needed to get saved again and if I didnt jack off I would have lustful thoughts.

This reminds me I have a freind who is aChristian and a strict one..He is in a sect called Wesleyan Holiness....Women have to wear dresses in that all the time. So I asked him if he beats off...He said no..Well about 3 months ago he had me fix his CPU...and while doing it I went "curious" to his history on web sites...guess what ....PACKED FULL of internet porn!!!!! Who is this guy kidding I thought...I still never told him I seen that porn there...This guy is soo decieved he pays 10% goes to church weekly..is the song leader ect....He is still a 31 year old VIRGIN!!!

The verses commonly cited regarding mastrubation involve Onan spilling his seed on the ground. Christians point at that as evidence god hates mastrubation, because Onan was punished for doing it.

 

Context context context.

 

Onan wasn't punished for spilling semen on the ground. He was punished becasue by doing so, he denied his brother's widow her mandated by Mosaic Law right and duty to have a child of her husband's bloodline. Onan wasn't even mastrubating! He was having sex with the widow, and he pulled out!

 

And what's really funny. God killed the widow's husband IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Of course, this widow goes on to disguise herself as a prostitute to nail Judah for offspring. And is declared 'righteous' by him when he learns of her deception.

 

All of Genesis Chapter 38 is really funny and screwed up. But when confronted with context and the actual STORIES from the OT, instead of singular hand-picked verses (which is what the christians love to do) Christians suddenly claim the OT is just a history and it's the NT we are meant to pay attention to.
