Stratovarius
Christians never reply when I bring this up. Why does God do anything at all? In the bible God is defined as omnimax. He is perfect and infinite in every way. A typical Christian response is that God got lonely, so he created humans to keep him company. God can't get lonely, that would be an imperfection and that would mean the bible definition of God is wrong. A response to asking "wouldn't you be lonely if you were God?". The answer is no. The whole point to my existence as an infinite and perfected being would be to exist for eternity and not do anything. You can't trust anything else in the bible if it contradicts itself in major topics such as the definition of the actual God Christians are worshipping! I mean, God even rests at times. Come on, what is that? An omnimax God resting?

smellincoffee
The first verses of the Bible betray why God exists: he exists so humans could explain why we were here and how we got here, before science could do that.
