currentchristian
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAa4wqEizdc The youtube video is a bit "boring," but it has a good punchline coming at the very end. If you don't hold out to the end, you miss it. This fellow is right. Another example of religious oppression -- one group (Buddhists) over another (any other religious group). Here's a link to a confirmation story: http://www.bhootan.org/modules.php?op=modl...cle&sid=696 When will we all grow secure enough in our beliefs, values, hopes, etc., to allow others to hold an opposite opinion!? -currentchristian in massachusetts
Ziggy
When will we all grow secure enough in our beliefs, values, hopes, etc., to allow others to hold an opposite opinion!? Security in your own beliefs usually means you are absolutely sure anothers beliefs are wrong Its not security in your own belief but what that belief is ..and how you believe it relates to a different/opposing view

Part of what we need is sufficient humility to admit that we may be wrong; therefore, others may be right. And that as we have changed our minds in the past, we likely will do so again in the future and what we deem preposterous today we might embrace as trustworthy tomorrow. -currentchristian in massachusetts
