Poonis
This video is addressed to creationists, in reference to some of the (you'd think) easily corrected misconceptions about evolution. Video by my Atheist buddy RabidApe. http://exchristian.net/exchristian/2007/01...-evolution.html Just as I don't believe in creationism, I don't believe in evolution either. The difference is, evolution does not mandate belief in it for it to hold water.
Wertbag
The replies to the video range from logical to the outright bizarre. The good ol' second law raises its ugly head, strange evolution chains ("Sorry but aint no fucking way I evoled from a sperm..then to a toad..then to a monkey..then to a man"), the old straw man attack that the big bang and evolution are somehow the same, and the age old cry that evolution is a religion. The sad thing is that no matter how many idiots raise these points and get educated/shot down, theres always another ready to step into the hole with the same mindless quotes. I really wish we could get the "Arguements Christians should not use" list widely broadcast.
fortunehooks
I love the title of this thread. It really carries a bigger meaning to me, I am all for not having any beliefs in evolution. i don't think i need a belief in things that have evidence that supports the stances.
