Guest ensoph
One of the reasons why I did not become a Xtian is because the so-called holy book doesn't make sense. Another reason is that the religion is more like a cult. An interesting website about errancy and contradictions in the holy book: http://members.aol.com/ckbloomfld/ which provides "food for thought". Enjoy!! Poonis
I believed everything in the bible, and was a christian, until I read it cover to cover.

bluewizard
There are many injustices and contradictions in the Bible, to me if it's not all right why bother believing?
Lycorth
Another good page about the contradictions in the Babble can be found at Skeptic's Annotated Babble. It's not just the cruelty espoused in the Babble, or the absurdities it claims as truth, but the utter contradictory nature of the entire book. It seems as if there is not a single major point of belief in the Babble that is not contradicted somewhere else, when an honest, plain-text reading of the book is done. If that is the supposed revelation of an all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving god, then perfection is defined as utter stupidity
