The Sage Nabooru
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell Is it just me, or is Christianity the only religion listed that: 1. Reeeeeeeeeeaaaaally wants to send people to hell (see the original sin doctrine) 2. Insists on it being eternal, final, and irreversible. Albeit it does list that several Christian groups deny the existence of hell altogether. Which is nice.

That makes Christianity a bit funny. It claims that Jesus is example of how loving God is, because this means you can be forgiven and not have to go to hell for eternity. Yet it is the only religion that claims that such a horrible thing is possible in the first place.
NotBlinded
I personally think that hell was not originally intended to mean an eternal place of suffering. Jesus never said hell and the word eternity should have never been used based on the Greek word that was translated. Ohh...so much power in words! AIÓN -- AIÓNIOS translated eternal; everlasting There are many places in the bible where eternity (or forever) is used and then shown elsewhere to not actually mean eternity.
