I will do my part by looking at porn and other things that interest me. No Taph, Jesus is not coming. That's just the sacred myth Christians believe in. They find it comforting to think there is a Jesus who loves them so much that he would give his life for them. I don't really understand it but I let them have their fantasies if that makes them feel better. I just like to know that Moon smiles on me in all its gleaming glory. Moon is a deity I can see. Casey Posted August 29, 2007 Share Posted August 29, 2007 It caused a bit of an upset to our Bridge Club's card play last night. Every time the buzzer went signalling us to move to another table there was a concerted rush for the doors to watch the moon which eventually put us four minutes behind schedule, but then you don't see this every night, do you? I have to report however, that whatever else the event may have supposedly portended, it improved neither my partner's luck nor mine; we got the same mix of good, bad, indifferent and bloody awful cards. Should I have turned over all the silver in my pockets and made a wish? Oh I forgot, that stuff's not silver these days, just base metal done up to look like it.
