trashy
Researchers Knock Out HIV If this is true, why haven't I heard it ten times already?
HuaiDan
Because it's not a cure or a vaccine. It seems to be just another one of those treatment cocktails, albeit a very effective one. The road to developing an HIV vaccine has been an incremental one, so when the vaccine finally arrives, I don't think there will be much fanfare. More like a collective "well, finally." People might have to be slapped over the head before they realize it's the CURE FOR AIDS!!11!!!1!!!!

Not everyone will say "Well, finally!" in a positive manner. When a HIV vaccine is developed, expect the Christians to protest it loudly, as it will then encourage people to have promiscuous sex; similar to their bitching about the cervical cancer vaccine.
