Actually, I can believe it, but I am just dumbfounded. We're no better than the goddamned terrorists. I already thought that since Guantanamo and Abu-Ghraib, but now this... Most people would make up stories about their own mother if put through enough duress. This is why I cringe when asked to "support our troops." My understanding is that there's a new generation of soldiers and agents, and that the old school CIA agents knew that torture was very unreliable, and they had other more efficient methods.
