SWIM Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 The eyes, and lighting, seem to be the "key" to getting rid of the fakey 3D look. The hi-res skin maps really take their toll on processing time too. My biggest problems seem to be lighting. The eyes were the biggest thing, but I think I have the eyes down to realistic. Also, on some of my other renders, the background pallette of colors did not quite match that of the render. This time, instead of using a picture as a background, I used a solid off-white color.
