GraphicsGuy
Something I've wondered about from time to time, but another thread reminded me of the question again. The Bible mentions all kinds of wildlife...especially carnivores. Lions, wolves, bears... Are any of those animals actually present in the Mid-East? Lions and wild dogs in Africa, sure...but bears??? I know there are a lot of animals I don't know about, but it seems you need to head northeast or southeast (India, Africa) in order to see the animals the Bible speaks of. Guess some research is in order...
GraphicsGuy
Found an interesting webpage: http://www.geocities.com/jelbaum/mammals.html I says that the "the local lions and bears are now extinct," but it still makes me wonder what kind of bears they were...if there ever really were... Still looking...
