I found this in an old notebook of mine a few weeks back...thought I would share

 

 

Wasted Life

 

 

Engorged with Passion,

The child worships the brightest star,

Ponders creation with anticipation,

Awaiting their embrace from afar,

 

Citing word of generations past,

Centralised on the unknown,

Never a seer given to peer,

While worshiping alone,

 

With many painful years gone by,

The child becomes a man,

Killing those that dare oppose,

The one true holy plan,

 

He needs no proof only lust,

To justify his cause,

Never allow blaphemy,

To escape their unjust jaws,

 

The man grows old and dies alone,

Trapped beneath the ground,

Sharing a plot with all of those,

Also never found.
