I am sure it was a real movie. I vaguely remember watching Christian films such as this. It is just awful - terrible production, bad dialogue, awful acting. Plus a message that is a load of crap. Why waste a minute of your life watching it?

Ah, bad 70's explosions and stuntwork. Didn't make it all that far in, but I think I have the turn or burn point. Still all that smoke, noise and flame, takes me back to some very ill-considered albeit fun days.

 

Really the only response to something like this is to treat it with all the seriousness it deserves, which is to say, none.

The preacher guy is a fucking douchebag. I've seen one of his videos and he gets on my nerves like not much can. I love when the one guy says, "Like, man, we come to talk to you about Jeeeeezus," with the creepy, old-timey music in the background. I guess they were trying to make the guy sound cool, but who the hell talks like that? That guy sounds stoned out of his mind. That made my day.

"I want to talk to you about Jazus," stated the first man in the half cognizant tone of someone under the influence of narcotics.

 

"Do you believe in him?" inquired the preacher.

 

"Believe? I thought Jesus was your gardener," the second man said as he sounded a little confused.

 

"Oh, you mean 'Heyzeus'?" replied the preacher

 

"Oh yeah, that guy. He's been stealing weed from ya."

Saw it in the 80's at the Naval training station in Great Lakes, IL. Some "ministry" showed evangelistic movies. It really upset some of the people I went to see it with. They thought it was tasteless.
