Shyone
In an email group I belong to for my class reunion, a member of the group had a birthday. The group is largely Christian with a few that are kind of cynical, but I don't know that anyone has come out as an atheist - including myself. I say a birthday greeting, however, that got my attention. I'm not sure if I should respond, even in jest, but I don't know if it was serious or a misspelling. HAPPY bIRTHDAY, JORGE! gODLESS. What would you recommend? Time to take a stand, or just let it slide?
noob
What else could it be? Codless? Bodless? Godlust? I think you should politely question it. They might be in search of a kindred spirit!
Deva
I don't like the looks of it, but I would also question it. It is hard to know the true intent.
Shyone
Nevermind. It was a misspelling. I should have known. In this group, it would be a greeting. In that group, if sincere, it would be a death threat. Well, an insult perhaps.
