Now a gorilla at a British zoo is doing his best to remind folks of the link. Ambam has been wowing zoo-goers in Kent by walking around on his back legs, with a swagger that is uniquely human. Gorillas normally prefer to get around by 'knuckle walking', shuffling around on all fours. The zoo's gorilla keeper says the humanesque walking style seems to run in Ambam's family. His father used to do it when his hands were full, and his sister and half-sister occasionally get upright. (Copyright 2011 by NBC. All Rights Reserved.)
