New Fossil From My Hometown!

How did it take so long to find this? The area has been thoroughly examined for fossils for the last 200 years! As a kid there, I couldn't kick up a divot of dirt without finding a fossil of some kind, but this one is a rather amazing discovery.

This is really cool. One of my favorite hobbies is fossil hunting and each time i go out i hold hope in the back of my mind of stumbling across something like this, new and huge.
