Super Moderator florduh Posted April 25, 2012 Super Moderator Share Posted April 25, 2012 How did it take so long to find this? The area has been thoroughly examined for fossils for the last 200 years! As a kid there, I couldn't kick up a divot of dirt without finding a fossil of some kind, but this one is a rather amazing discovery. http://www.foxnews.c...t_of_Cincinnati

stryper
I think it's quite telling that the old fossil is also grey.

One of my favorite hobbies is fossil hunting and each time i go out i hold hope in the back of my mind of stumbling across something like this, new and huge.
