Chikirin Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Used to be God was inside my head shaking his head in disgust at my thoughts, and I felt crazy, like I wanted to shut my mind off, or obliterate it. Now, there is no one in my head but me, and I enjoy my thought life so much more.
Positivist Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Isn't it great to not have a spy in your head? Gawd. It's a wonder more of us aren't in the psych ward (speaking for myself).
Guest Babylonian Dream Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Those tapeworms creep me out worse than anything.

Moderator Margee Posted June 30, 2012 Moderator Posted June 30, 2012 It is so wonderful not to be so burdened with so much guilt!!
GardenerGal Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I remember one day in the garden, I must have tripped or something because I said "Goddammit" under my breath and was pretty sure I hammered the final nail into my coffin. But another part of me thought it felt really good, too. It took a while to let that self-condemnation go and realize no one was there, shaking his head crying at my blasphemy.
Legion Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 There's no one inside my head but me. mmmm hmmmmm And though some know me as Legion Three, and I have inner voices like the sea ooooh aaah It's just my own soliloquy! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! And it's because I've listened to thee! You're now part of my phantom community!
