Goodbye Jesus

Messiah comes only ONCE.

Where in the bible does it say the Messiah has to come TWICE?

If Jesus was the Messiah, he had his chance and blew it, there is no second term/comings so to speak.

Any ideas?

After the Jews started messing everything up in the OT, all the prophets started telling of a savior that was going to come and lead them- a king, messiah, whatever. The Jesus of the NT is supposedly that person...Jesus said before he left, at the Transfiguration, that he would come back for those that love him- he also said that there would be someone that was there that day that would be there when he came back. The people then began talking of Jesus coming back- they didn't think it was going to be 2000 years later or something because he said someone there that day would still be alive. He probably just never came back because it was just something he was saying or something, or his followers made up that story so they could get people to believe in Jesus. But, somehow, Christians still think there is a second coming that is going to happen, even though it probably never will according to the history of the Bible and the way it was written.

Everything has a cause.

Every cause has an effect.

Jesus was caused by the problem. Jesus was the effect of that cause.

When the problem returns, so will the effect.

Not only that:

Jesus said he supposedly WAS an explanation for the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms. To date, not a single Christian can provide me with a prophecy that God will judge the world twice – if you can buy into the myth. Seems to me that Jesus did a piss poor job the first time around if there is judgment remaining.

But of course, this how thing of messiah's coming again, and again, and again has bee with us from time in memorial ...
