I Wrote A Song And Decided To Share It.

The idea for it just came to me this morning and I thought it sounded good and thought maybe it would be nice to share. The song is anti-homophobic, but the main message in it is attacking those, mainly some Christians, who go out of their way to bash homosexuality and homosexuals, while ignoring other rules that the Bible also says they should obey. I didn't include a chorus to it because I didn't have any ideas for it, but I'll add that in later and just share what I've got. If there is anything I could change to make it better, please say so. All criticism is welcome, as long as it's constructive.

 

So, without further ado, here it is, I hope people like it.

If you’re preaching to the gays

About how they’ve gone astray

And are sliding towards the flames

You better not

Ignore the rest

Of the abominations in your big daddy’s list

If you do

You’re a hypocrite

And I have no respect for you

 

I was once part of your crowd

 

Shouting my beliefs

From the rooftops

Now I’m ashamed

I ever acted that way

I wish I could take my angry words back

The cat’s already out of the bag

It’s too late now

So all I could do

Was change my views

And my attitude
