Prometheus
I urge anyone who has escaped the gaping maw of the fold to read Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays on Nature and Self-Reliance. NOTHING has been of better help to me, struggling to make sense of the Real World once I took Christianity's blinders off. Has anyone else here read these awesome essays? Vigile
Yup, love me some Emerson. Thoreau isn't bad either.

Super Moderator buffettphan Posted November 10, 2013 Super Moderator Share Posted November 10, 2013 Great recommendation. Studying Emerson, Thoreau, and the unit on world religions in my 10th grade world history class nailed the coffin on my christinsanity. But just to be absolutely certain, I read the bible again without those christian blinders. Yup, it was over. Happy Reading!
