DrNo Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Annika Harris, wife of Sam Harris, wrote the book I Wonder for young kids after she saw that there were no books written for kids that encourage freethought. I have the print version and it is pretty good. It is basically about a mother and daughter going for a walk, while the daughter asks the mother all kinds of questions. It teaches kids to be OK with "I don't know" as an answer to big questions. Boys may not like it as much because there are no male characters, but I still think it's a good book. It is available as a free .pdf download now for a limited time. Parents (and non-parents), get yours now!
Super Moderator TheRedneckProfessor Posted April 23, 2014 Super Moderator Posted April 23, 2014 My son absolutely loves that book. We read it a couple of times a month.
Overcame Faith Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Very nice book. I like the notion of teaching children that there are some things we do not know. Also, the artwork is stunning!
