SilentLoner
The new movie Persecuted opening this July 18th depicts evangelist John Luther as the last obstacle in the way of sweeping religious reform. When a Senator frames Luther for the murder of an innocent teenage girl, an unprecedented era of persecution is unleashed. An evangelist turned fugitive, Luther's mission brings him face-to-face with the coming storm of persecution that will threaten the entire Christian community in America. seven77
I'm pretty sure I saw a trailer for this film some time ago. At first I thought I had fallen asleep and woken up to "Olympus Has Fallen". There was a distinct lack of Morgan Freeman in the trailer, so I went back to sleep. What is it with Christian movies, anyway? I do watch a lot of faith-driven crap on Netflix and it is all pretty bad. It is clear: Satan has the best movies. And the best candy!
♦ ficino ♦
This really makes me vomit. Why do hardly any American evangelicals notice the REAL persecution of Christians going on right now in what was northern Iraq, now controlled by ISIS, in what was Syria, and other places in areas dominated by "radical" Islam (e.g. East Africa)? Is it because they don't consider non-fundy Protestants Christians? Some American Christians do notice: http://www.christiantoday.com/article/iraqs.christians.told.to.convert.or.leave.as.church.leader.fears.for.future/38943.htm
