♦ ficino ♦ Posted August 10, 2014 Share Posted August 10, 2014 Just for fun I looked at this article on the Mormon section of Patheos: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/peculiarpeople/2014/08/in-good-conscience/ The author, Joe Spencer, talks about whether people are philosophically justified in deciding to leave Mormonism. I couldn't bear to read the whole thing. It was so much like Calvinist/Evangelical stuff I used to read, and agree with. A LONG disquisition on presuppositions, etc. Then ends with a challenge: so, given all this presuppositional stuff, how do you dare disagree with the claims of the authoritative Word?
