Asuryan
Do you think this is a true statement: "Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely"? I am totally sure that (IF and only IF our visiting christians are going to answer, which is doubtful at this point) they will tell you that absolute power corrupts absolutely MEN, but of course god is perfect and uncorruptible even if he has absolute power... We know them too well. We were them.

Amanda
Do you think this is a true statement: "Power tends to corrupt. I don't really think absolutely so about this part. Absolute power corrupts absolutely"? Yes, I agree with this part tends to be true. Of course, I suppose intent seems to shift sometimes with absolute power. It seems leaders usually begin with the purpose of helping their people, but over time, with no checks and balances, it seems they get arrogant and consider themselves god or something. I wonder why that happens?
white_raven23
EPONYMIC!!!!!!!!!!! Asimov........this wasn't me. "Someone" forgot to log the prior user of my computer out before posting as himself. So Da Rat wound up talking through Da Cat's skin.... Though neither of us are christians.... And I don't disagree with the content of his post (as me)...... It is a matter of coming online to see what's new....and get the feeling you've been posting in your sleep or something.
