It says that these teeth are 400,000 years old and shows evidence of man made pollution from roasting meats indoors. The Bible does not directly "say the earth is approx 6,000 years old." The Bible has been interpreted to mean so by some folks. Others interpret it differently allowing for a much longer time span.
