Back in 69' I watched images of Armstrong and Aldrin walking on that faint dot, just to the left of the brighter one.

That was all filmed in a Hollywood studio! 

 

Just kidding. I watched it too on a very modern 13" black and white TV with rabbit ears for an antenna.
