☆ pantheory ☆ Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Concerning this baby bird, 100 million years ago was about at the "golden age" of dinosaurs when they were the dominant form of animal life here on Earth. So in those movies about dinosaurs and flying reptiles they should include birds in the scenery. I don't recall seeing this in the movies. Birds directly competed with flying reptiles for dominance of the skies for at least 50 million years before birds finally won out and flying reptiles went extinct. Birds are warm blooded and most flying reptiles were believed to have been cold blooded. This may be the reason for their extinction. Like the dinosaurs, an Earth cooling event could have done them in.
