Sit in a corner and stare at a wall for an hour.

Bored?

 

Now sit there are stare at the wall for a week.

Bored?

 

Now sit there and stare at it for a thousand years.

Bored?

 

Now try it for a million years, a billion years and much longer.

Bored?

 

What do you think you are going to do, spending forever in heaven. Do you realise how long eternity is?

 

The Chinese have a definition of eternity. There is a mountain of diamond and every thousand years a magic bird comes and sharpens its beak on the mountain.

 

When that mountain has completely worn away, then the first second of eternity has passed.

 

Eternity is long enough to even drive a God crazy.
