Sexton Blake
In the bible, a book which mentions the names of so many nobodies, we never get to know the all important Pharaoh's name in the Exodus story. I would guess that this would be because it would pin the story down to a certain time, and the Egyptians were good historians so the Egyptians could then produce proof it is all lies. There has already been efforts to try to claim it happened a few hundred years later than once thought. The desert forts of the time kept records but had no record of several hundred thousand people wandering about for 40 years, and they never built a city there. Archaeologists searching the area have found no trace of them either, though they had found traces oi SINGLE CAMPFIRES from around the right time. The journey would take 9 hours by car or 6 days on foot. But with Moses guiding them, it took 40 years.
