The word yom is used in the bible to mean "day"

So when God uses the word day in Genesis 2:7, he means yom as in a 24 hour day

like when he talks to Moses and says:

 

Exodus 31:17  It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

It is 24 hour days (and not billions of years as some liars claim)

 

So, God LIED when he said if Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, they would die that day. Adam lived another 930 years.

 

Some liars like to claim that "Adam and Eve died spiritually", whatever that means. How dumb to they think we are?

God lies by proxy; He sends prophets or lying spirits to deceive.

And if a prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet. Ezekiel 14:9

 

For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:11
