Sick, sick. The mother thought the kid was possessed because she cried. So Mom basically choked the kid to death while two others held her down.

Maybe a hundred years ago or longer there were still stupid people around who believed in this insane stuff, but now it's very surprising that there still are religious folk so stupid that they could choke their 3 year old daughter to  death in an  exorcism. Maybe a mental institution for the mentally retarded and insane would be appropriate for the participants.
