Scholar to non-scholar conference

As everyone here knows, I'm a fan of Bart Ehrman. And he is promoting a conference which he will be MC'ing, and he will also be talking about a topic he had never touched on before. September 23-24. The price is $59. I will most likely buy it and will hopefully be able to watch it as it unfolds. This is an event for those of us that are ready to learn about modern scholarly work in the new testament. As a former minister I have no doubt that I will appreciate what Bart and the other Doctors have to offer in this. I say this because I would caution the younger/newer members to wait until they are ready to delve back into the bible, knowing that it is not historical truth before they commit to such an event. And that is not meant to cause offense. For atleast two years I did not touch the bible after I deconverted. But when you are ready this may be of benefit.
