Rosa Mystica Posted May 7, 2006 Share Posted May 7, 2006 I wrote this poem a few days ago. It reflects my current views on the thought control my former religion likes to instill in its followers. Don't Don't express and don't ask "Why?", But do suppress, and do deny. For if you don't think as you're told, Eternal torment's your reward. In order to avoid such pain, You have to first shut off your brain, Then feed yourself a bunch of lies And look at truth with blinded eyes. "Turn or Burn's" the only choice- Don't listen to that inner voice That tells you, "This is total crap"- Apparently, that's "Satan's" trap! Don't dare be honest with yourself- You'll end up in a fiery Hell! Though for this view there is no proof, Others follow- why can't you?
