pandora
Lots of short video interviews. I read a lot of these guys' books during college. Nice resource if you want to catch up on who's who in modern academia... the expressed opinions cover the spectrum (at least the spectrum in the ivory tower). This is also a Slate-sponsored thingie. http://meaningoflife.tv/ TOPICS INCLUDE: Being good without God Daniel Dennett Francis Fukuyama Ursula Goodenough Steven Pinker Robert Pollack Huston Smith Edward O. Astreja
I've read Joseph Goldstein's book Insight Meditation. It's extremely good, an excellent starting point if you want to explore that particular path. Making a mental note to look for those other authors after I finish going through all these videos!
