★ Citsonga ★
I was never a minister myself, but I was a Sunday school teacher and was approached by our pastor to consider going into the ministry. I did deliver one evening "sermon," but prayerfully declined an invitation for preaching a Sunday morning sermon because I felt my "calling" to be a different avenue. I was planning on getting into the music ministry (playing drums in a Christian rock band and giving messages at concerts). I did a lot of studying as a layman, reading and memorizing the Bible and reading apologetics books and listening to Christian radio programs. I had others looking up to me for my "biblical knowledge" and how I could "glean from the Scriptures." Man, I'd love to have those years back to do something more productive with my life!
