What are your thoughts on ''high school is the best years of your life''?

Expressed a little differently, I no longer remember the who. Some I knew from a class, others I did not know. Not all were actually students there in school either. Just nearby.

There were illegal activities around my school with which I was not involved and was unaware. They were affiliated (as is now known) with other criminal interests.

 

By chance I ran afoul of some of them for a time.

Life got to be pretty rough.

Human beings can be room-temperature cold and still be walking around.

 

The less I remember now the better. One benefit of age.
