SkepticOfBible
As for Paul, I personally dont consider the new testament to be part of scripture. I consider the Torah to be scripture, the rest of the books I consider to be divinely inspired texts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do distinguish between the both? And what is difference between a text inspired by god and a text inspired of god? A lot of christians would consider NT scripture too cause of that verse in Timothy
Guest dastywoo
Christianity took a wrong turn the moment Pauline ideals and teachings/writings began to be accepted. Paul and his writings are NOT the only way to God and we Christians have been brainwashed that this is so. Maybe because Paul claimed that anyone else who presented any alternate gospels of the time or alternate teachings were false teachers? See, there's one problem with the faith, we got off to a bad start. I believe if He weren't such a nice guy, Jesus would beat the shit out of Paul. Peace! Toxic
Thats all well and good. Still misses the point of the thread. Why belive in Paul and not Mohammed? Or, for that matter Joseph Smith or Sun Myung Moon?
