When I first took this a few years ago, UU and Libreal Quaker were at the top of my list. Today they hit at #6 LIBERAL QUAKER AT 84% and #3 UU ant 91%. Got 100% score as a nontheists. I guess, I have come a long way from being the PK.

Hmm, that sounds about right. These results are very similar to the results I got when I first took it a few months ago. I don't remember Theravada Buddhism being quite that high, and I think I scored a little bit higher than 20% on Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (I've made progress on my de-conversion, then). Other than that, I can't see much of a difference.

Very interesting. The results were exactly what I expected - NONTHEIST.

The questions toward the end were difficult to answer. For example, although I believe that homosexuality is just fine (not wrong at all/normal), I had to choose "Not Applicable" because I don't feel it has any connection to religion or spirituality. I'm not sure I'm articulating that where it can be understood, but maybe you know what I mean. Another example: although I believe that abortion IS wrong in most cases (and feel quite strongly about it, actually), I still chose "Not Applicable" because I don't see what it has to do with religion or spirituality.

I then went back and answered it how I would have a few years ago. The result was MAINLINE TO CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN/PROTESTANT. This sounds about right since I was a very fundie Southern Baptist born and bred, but with some questions about SBC doctrine and definite difficulties with "walking the walk". LOL.

Belief-O-Matic can't decide if I'm 100% Reform Jew or Orthodox Jew. To make sure that I'm properly confused about my place in life, I often score over 80% for "Islam".

I thought that this test normalized the results, so that the one you matched closest was 100% and the others were decreasing fractions of closeness after that? It's why the top one is always 100%.

I think it is too. I don't necessarily believe I am a Secular Humanist, just a Humanist. I feel I span over from spiritual, religious, secular humanism, thus just plain Humanist. I don't add any adjective to it because of that.

This is kind of cool. I took this test about 5 years ago and came out Fundamentalist Christian. Then a couple years later I came out Liberal Christian. Now I'm a Secular Humanist:

1. Secular Humanism (100%)

2. Unitarian Universalism (94%)

3. Nontheist (89%)

Nontheist is creeping towards the top. Maybe I'll make it to full-blown atheist before I die and meet the FSM face to face.

I just took the quiz twice, first with the answers I would have given 6 months ago, and again with the answers I feel are true for me now.

The old beliefs: Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (100%)

The new, improved beliefs: Secular Humanism (100%)

That's a big switch. No wonder my brain hurts. :)

I got UU as number one, then neo-pagan, secular humanist, liberal quakers, new age. JW and Islam were at the bottom. I am not surprised but I have given these things so much thought that i could see the various answers in the questsions and answers. My biggest beef were the questions on morality since I have sort of strange ethical theories. But the questions were good and the answers were satisfactory choices.
