Funny thing is, I'm a full blown Atheist. I think it rates you higher in Nontheist for more apathetic answers to some of the morality questions.

For example, I agree that early term Abortions should be allowed, especially in teen pregnancy and rape cases. However I also firmly believe it should be done before the development of a nervous system, and late term abortions should only be applied in cases where there is a severe problem with the child [such as developing without a head, or with internal organs outside the body] or where having a child presents a clear and present danger to the mother's life or long term health.

Yeah it's the woman's body. However, condoms are cheap, and there are numerous forms of contraception available. Including the morning after pill. Abortion should not be viewed as an alternative to acting responsibly. Once a nervous system is formed, suffering is possible.

After a certain point, it stops being about her body and her rights, and about accepting responsibility for one's actions. Behaving irresponsibly without consequence is not a right.

There should be a window of opportunity, but it should close after a certain point as well. Only to open again in cases where personal safety and long term health are at risk.

I don't mind being classed as a Secular Humanist, but I don't endorse Universal Morality either. Though, Secular Humanists are Nontheist. [belief.net doesn't seem to like the word 'Atheist'] I'm an Atheist but I do have standards of ethics and morals as well. Though, I also understand that not everyone shares them either.

I'm not 'offended' or anything. I just think the test is skewed a bit to a particular definition of 'Nontheist' that isn't really accurate. Though it may indeed describe some, it's a bit to generalized and leans towards apathy as a common trait more than it should.

Though, I am left wondering if you give the most 'evil' answers possible, does it class you as 100% Scientologist, or Nontheist?

I also find it amusing that I used to be Roman Catholic, and it's the second to the last one at 17% tied with Eastern Orthodox and Islam. Heh. :)

Sikhism was mine. Although I don't believe it was 100% like it said (due to some of the "sins"), I was surprised and actually I have never even heard of it before. Kinda a fun test.

During my search for the Divine, I did experiment with neo-paganism, new age shamanism (was terrible at it as I'm not much for altered states of consciousness), and a strictly philosophical form of Buddhism, before returning to (and ultimately rejecting) a liberal version of Lutheran Christianity.

The best part is the religion I was brought up to believe, Roman Catholicism was 25th on my list just above Jainism and Jehovah's Witness but below Baha'i Faith. I'm not even sure what that is, but apparently I'm more in line with that than the religion that was shoved down my throat my entire life.

Baha'i Faith. I'm not even sure what that is, but apparently I'm more in line with that than the religion that was shoved down my throat my entire life.

I'm no expert, but I understand that they generally believe that all religions have "a piece of the truth." And theirs is the true religion because the have solved the problem of the "multiple gods therefore no gods."

It is, in that sense, "inclusive", but there have been some issues related to the leader(s) of the religion.

From their web site:

Throughout history, God has revealed Himself to humanity through a series of divine Messengers, whose teachings guide and educate us and provide the basis for the advancement of human society. These Messengers have included Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad. Their religions come from the same Source and are in essence successive chapters of one religion from God.

Bahá’u’lláh, the latest of these Messengers, brought new spiritual and social teachings for our time. His essential message is of unity. He taught the oneness of God, the oneness of the human family, and the oneness of religion.

So I'm nearly a Unitarian. That's funny, I went to one of their churches and it felt like I was in a Christian church. I can't see myself being anywhere near that. Maybe Budhhism or Hinduism, but definitely not Unitarian.

I suspect that if your answers on most questions are not Christian, that it automatically selects Unitarian toward the top. Its funny, I wonder what specific questions are given most weight to give a UU result? Anyway, almost everyone has this in the top five.

I agree, I attended a Unitarian church for awhile and it wasn't for me.

I found this a couple of years ago. Results are pretty much the same now as then.

I sent them to my sister who is married to a Methodist Pastor and his response was "UU? they make me look conservative". The fact that secular Humanism "lost" by 1% is kinda interesting. I think the emphasis rankings are what play into most of the subtle distictions. So if you just left them all at medium then you get on result but if you change a few you get a different one.
